The Education is Freedom National Scholarship Program provides college scholarships in the amount of $2,000 to high school seniors that meet the following criteria:
Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. resident for one year at time of application
- Current U.S. High School senior
- GPA of 3.0 to 3.5 (4.0 scale)
- First-time enrollment in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university

Scholarship Awards
- Award amount: $2000 per year, $1000 per semester
- Scholarship payable to institution bi-annually
- No deferment
- Renewable up to 3 years for completion of an undergraduate degree*

Application Guidelines
- Application period: April 1, 2008 - May 31, 2008
- Electronic applications available during application period on this web site. Only electronic application submissions will be accepted.
- Applications received will be acknowledged by e-mail only

- Approval
- Notification (Summer) Note: only award recipients will be notified by e-mail or mail
- Scholarship Distribution (August-September)

*Award Renewal Criteria
- Awards are renewable for three subsequent years or until an undergraduate degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of maintaining a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and continued full-time enrollment.
- Renewal applications/instructions are sent to recipients with their January payment.
