Mentoring

In order to generate a college-going culture among students within the Dallas ISD, EIF facilitates mentoring for its students through staff members and volunteers that can offer positive adult influences. EIF ensures that volunteer mentors are screened, assigned appropriately and monitored. EIF has strong partnerships with the Junior League of Dallas, E-mentoring (coordinated by the Dallas Bar Association), Leadership Dallas, Bank of America, Hispanic Women’s Network of North Texas, Southern Methodist University and El Centro College whose volunteers play a major role in mentoring EIF students.
