Prospective University Students
All students must complete the following steps after submitting an online college application:
- Complete the FAFSA/TASFA
- Submit your verification form (if applicable)
- Register for orientation
- Apply for housing
- Call the admissions office & ask if you need to take a placement test. This is a test to see what classes you can enroll in fall and if you will need to take any remedial classes
- Submit final transcript after graduation (make sure this is done before freshman orientation)
- Attend orientation and enroll in classes
Advisor tip : Do not wait for the university to contact you. If you haven’t heard from them, it is your responsibility to call and request the status of your application. Usually, it is as simple as turning in a missing document!
